I am keen to start learning tricks. Unfortunately, my 10 year old Prism Legacy is going in the bin, and I'm looking for a £50-80 kite to learn on before buying a Jest of Eve Talon. In my mind I have the following kites: Elliot's Slide, Level One's X-Treme Std and Eolo Neox (may be too dear) and New Tech Techno kites. Has anybody any experience of these kites and can tell me if they are any good for tricks? (Oh and, by the way, John, for somebody who said they were no good at tricks, you did a lot of great tricks!) Thanks to all for welcoming David and I as new members and for the teach-in and hospitality...amongst strange weather conditions! Hail, sun, rain, shine, the lot! Any comments on the kites I have mentioned would be gratefully received, and also any advice about a DVD to buy to learn tricks from??? That's it for now!! Thanks in advance for any help re trick kites that cost £50 - 80.....Sarahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14591051238125932605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7093477753108605587.post-89509989048679393082008-03-09T18:25:00.000Z2008-03-09T18:25:00.000ZA really great fly in. Smooth from the South.

A number of MKF members were able to attend the memorial for Stan, and the balloons were taken to the aircraft field for the launch.

In the afternoon, I spent a lot of time trying to demo trick flying on the Fury .85 (not best from me!), and managed a quick KAP session, flew the Hargreaves Box and helped some local youngsters with their kites.

Any other comments?

JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
