HEART OF ENGLAND KITE FLIERS

Welcome to the blog for the
HEART OF ENGLAND KITE FLIERS.

We are NOT a club. There are plenty of good kite clubs to join. Most of us belong to MKF, the Midlands Kite Fliers.

We ARE a group of kite enthusiasts who meet in the West Midlands, Normally in Sutton Park. Anyone is free to come along and have fun.

Repeat of the last FOUR years:

Once again I have been asked to fill the sky with colour. Who can help?

It is a brilliant site to fly.

Let me know if you can come.

When? Sunday 6th July 2008 12:30 to 5pm

Where?

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?local=h&scale=25000&title=Wheatmore%20Farm&pc=B756JP&icon=x]Wheatmore Farm

Last year 2000 people came in the sunshine to enjoy our family fun day. This year, many of the elements that made it such a fantastic day will be the same as well as some added extras: Rodeo Bull, Pirate Ship, Gladiator Duel Bouncy Castles x 2, Velcro Wall, Bungee Run Eliminator, Penalty Shoot Out, Donkey Rides, Tuck Tent, Tug of War, Face Painting, Rounders, 3-Legged Races and much more!

Edit:

Great day out. Thanks to Terry and Pete for coming and flying kites. Here is a KAP shot:

Glad to see you got at least one good pic John.
Had a good fly and was good that some of the public came over to talk and fly a kite or two. Shame about the weather but wind was good until the wet stuff put a damper on things
Thanks for the invite and holding the umbrella over daughter when the rains came.
