Once again I have been asked to fill the sky with colour. Who can help?
It is a brilliant site to fly.
Let me know if you can come.

Last year 2000 people came in the sunshine to enjoy our family fun day. This year, many of the elements that made it such a fantastic day will be the same as well as some added extras: Rodeo Bull, Pirate Ship, Gladiator Duel Bouncy Castles x 2, Velcro Wall, Bungee Run Eliminator, Penalty Shoot Out, Donkey Rides, Tuck Tent, Tug of War, Face Painting, Rounders, 3-Legged Races and much more!
Edit:
Great day out. Thanks to Terry and Pete for coming and flying kites. Here is a KAP shot:
Friday 9 May 2008
Last fly in for the summer 11th May.
Sunday 11th May will be the last fly in until September, with so many other festivals on, and the return of the cows. Don't forget there is a small admission charge for cars after 11.00a.m.
This doesn't mean there won't be any flying at other times. Certainly I will be in the park a few time a week if you want to contact me and link up (use MKF forum, or post here).
Enjoy your summer and see you on the 11th May or in the Autumn.
John

9th March 2008 - MKF Stan Lunn Memorial fly-in, Sutton Park - Boldmere Gate.
Taken from e-mail from Ian:
As you may have heard one of the main attendees of the Boldmere Gate fly-in Stan Lunn died recently.
The Funeral was held last Wednesday and was attended by Ian and Julie Wilson, Jim Cronin, David & Anne Buckland and Mike S-P as friends and representatives of MKF along with his close friends and family.
Ian has spoken to Stan’s family and with their agreement it has been decided to dedicate the March 9th Fly-in to Stan, and in memory of him it will be called the MKF Stan Lunn Memorial fly-in, Sutton Park - Boldmere Gate.
We will be holding a minutes silence at 12pm after which we will release three black helium balloons with a simple card attached.
If you would like to attend and say your goodbyes to one of our best and cherished friends and would like to add your name to the card then please come along.
The Fly-in’ starts at the usual time of 9.30am and finishes at 2pm at the usual place Sutton Park, Boldmere Gate, Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham, West Midlands.
See details to the left.
Thanks to Ian for arranging this.
